Thanks Matt.

So Time for a 6 MONTH Update ( CURRENT FRAG List )

Got most of the names, except a few I can't recall, or No-Name Acros.

Looking good! Nice colour in the papi chulo. Much better than mine.
How’s the purple dragon doing?
Mine is struggling to survive the stress from shipping.
That’s quite a collection you have there!

Yes, my collection DOES Keep me worried I don't mess anything up. MY GOAL/Lessons learned from Past is Stability.
What I did in past is whenever, things got good.....I tried to make better (with adjustments). Worst mistake ever to mess with Goodness.

As far as the PAPICHULO. I got mine from Reef Raft Canada (nearby).

It actually looked really nice when I brought it home, with WHITE BACKGROUND (like you get from an IceFire Enchinata).

But over that last while it lost the WHITE, and went dark. Which matches the original Colony Photo RR put up.

The PURPLE Dragon was from GTAreef, and I got both a RED one and Purple.
I lost the Red in a very short time, but the Purple has been doing fine for a few months. NOT GROWING (with White Tips), just looking good, and improving on Purple Coloration.

Actually what I'm noticing is ALL my SPS are getting COLOR but on the DARK RICH COLOR SIDE. Not as Bright. Not complaining, but in some ways, I wish they would brighten up to typical known coloration.

It could be the Amino's I'm doing. Two Brands (opposite days). Coral Essentials GROW/AMINO and AquaForest ABEV.

I don't feed corals at all any food like (Reed Roids, Coral Frenzy, Oyster Feast) in order to keep my P down.

Well, things are looking pretty good- like you said - don’t change much.
I think your papi chulo chulo looks better now.
I may have mine too low in the tank..
and keep in mind that pretty much no coral looks as good in real life as it does in a vendor’s pic

The pre-build thread with all the details is here.

My Project ★ GENESIS ★ 110G (Miracle) SPS Dream Tank - (I) Pre-Build Thread

At this point I have installed the bare tank into my Office Wall, and the Sump Room was Stripped down for the new tank.

The Tank is NOW in the Wall as shown below (ON THE OFFICE SIDE)

Above was complete a day ago. (Tank is just full of TAP Water so it stabilizes on the New STAND)

This the setup before with the 65 GAL (3 months ago when build started)

This is the New 100G Tank before Installation

IN THIS THEAD I will Tackle the Sump Room (Which is located behind the Tank)

Before I ripped out the 65 Gallon Tank the Sump Room looked like this.

The Sump Room is home to the Tank, Associated SUmp and a Sump for a 2nd 95 Gallon Tank Directly on Floor above.

I plan to make it better this time.

HERE IS MY TO DO LIST for this Next Phase of the Build:

-> Better Wiring Setup (For APEX, Power, and Control Lines)
-> Dosing and Water Changer (DIY Controller with Better Setup)
-> New Replacement Lighting ( T5/LED replacing MH/T5/LED)
-> Better Sump Access (Using Old DIY Sump, with Build in Algae Scrubber)
-> Better Plumbing (Hidden and build into Wall for BOTH SUMPS)
-> Better Wall Backing Mirage Setup (Blue Coloring to Have Tank Viewing seem like no room or equipment is behind tank)
-> A better Floor and Tank Access (Possibly a ledge/Step around tank)
-> Other things I come up with.....

Once these goals are Achieved, the Last Phase of the Build with be TO MOVE THE OLD TANK (Rock and Fish) into the New Tank, which I haven't exactly Figure out how.
Sure it is a dream

LONG Overdue update

General Update: Tank is doing fine. Lost a few Newbie FRAGS, but some Vetran Frags are doing well.
Working hard on Bringing P down (PHOSGUARD) between 0.1 and 0.2 ppm (Seems to be he Sweet Spot). N=25 (and I don't care)

Here is my PAPI Chulo, since I posted a picture before.

Doing OK. Encrusted, and starting a TIP.

NEW CORAL SPECIES (Caphastrea Bottom Garden) Since SPS isn't my thing (at least the sensitive one like IceFire, SSC, etc), decided to start Collecting some Cyphastreas, that I will grow out, onto Rocks and make a Bottom Garden. (Less Aggressive than Encrusting Monti).

Here is the Collection a Few Weeks ago. (With NAMES)

AND NOW....(Some have improved, others working on it)

Just finished building A DIY 4 Stage Water Changer Controller (Integrated to Apex)

Basically it will do this.....

GOAL IS TO AUTOMATE my 3 Tanks almost 90% from Maintenance. KEEPS my HAND out and disrupting things.

Can working more on Stability, Nutrients.....

and messing around with Frag Tank (not DT's)

ALSO this will Re-use my Fresh Water, From (Cleanest Tank, to my Dirtiest LPS/Mixed Tank)

This is the FRAG TANK (Which is Mounted on my OLD 65 Gallon Tank that I removed) and HAVE REUSED-As THE WATER RESERVIOR.

More details to come, and a Working Demo, when I complete Installation, and Finished the Software.

Maybe in a separate thread.

Just Shot this VIDEO to Make things a bit obvious for my Whole setup.
What's missing in this Video is the 90 Gallon LPS tank is UPSTAIRS IN KITCHEN, Directly above the SUMP ROOM.
The Pumbing to the Sump (Under the 110 Gallon Tank) is in those white Deck Post Columns.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hGCgo9b-xWo

THE WATER CHANGER is Finished, and I setup this TEST LAB on my Desk to develop the code to run it. (Code will go fairly Fast, since I will be re-using Code from my DIY Doser, and the DIY Tank Minder)

Must be tested, since it will be HOOKED up to 2 Live Tanks.

THOSE ACRYLIC PLATES seen the Photo's above, will be place on Each of the TANK with the WATER CHANGER hoses. To give indication what is happening, etc.
HERE IS A VIDEO OF what they will each look like (Tri Color LED's [RED/GREEN/BLUE] and mixed Colors)

I'm pretty sure these are the one's I got.
https://www.amazon.com/Anndason-Piec...3014013&sr=8-5

But they could be bigger.

I usually get all my parts from China. Lot cheaper, but 4-6 week wait.

PROJECT TIME ( DIY ) ALK Monitor (Automated Hanna with Raspberry Pi/Ardiuno)

This took 6 Months to build. 2 Months for Hardware, and 4 for Programming.

It's a 3 TANK Alkalinity Monitor. Like a Trident, etc but a bit more advanced.

Picture is worth a Thousand words.

And a Real Test Video (DEMO) (crappy first take during testing) explains how it work.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A0UEH0lwkhE&t=21s

More details to come.

It's been a LONG while.

No way I can write up a Catch up Post.

So why not keep it simple.

I lost quite a lot of my Frags, and even my BULLET Proof LPS Tank took a hit when our AC broken down while I was away for a week. House and Tanks overheated.

Took months for the LPS tank to make a recovery.
The SPS Tank needed a near complete Refresh on Frags.

This is what both Tanks look like right now.

THE 90 Gallon LPS/MIXED TANK

THE 110 Gallon SPS TANK

Evening

THE 35 Gallon FRAG/HOLDING TANK
(Loaded just a few days ago with Hand Me down Live Rock, from Friend who shut down his tank)

This Box Fish is in the 35 Gallon Above (He just made it out of QT and loves his new home)

This Clown Trigger is not in the 10 Gal QT (Where he will go is still a Mystery)

And Last but not least

The 15 Gallon Refuge Section of the Sump has been a home to a Pair of Sunburt Anthias (FatHeads) for over a year.

And on the TECHO SIDE

I made a Improved DIY Doser.

Fully Web Based User Interface. 6 Dosing Heads, 4-Onboard, to 2 Remote.
