Which Dream Box

Interested in a Dream Box for a 220 Gal. Any ideas as to which one to get? Current skimmer is a DC200. Thanks

That’s a loaded question. The bigger the better when it comes to sumps since they add to overall water volume. You also need to consider the dimensions of the dreambox vs how much water will leave your display when the power goes out to insure there is enough room in the sump to accommodate the excess water from the display. While our dimensions are in CM, it’s easy to convert that to inches to figure out the total cubic inches inside the sump and then use an online calculator to conver cubic inch to gallon to determine how much the dreambox can hold. Figure about 9” of water when the dreambox is running and base your calculations on the remaining space to determine if it will hold enough water for when the pumps are off. How much drains from your display will be based on the display dimensions and how high the water level is above the return lines or slots in the overflow depending on which is lower.

The first thing I would do is consider my available space and go from there. You would be best looking at the website and trying to decide based on budget. Take into consideration the options you would want such as seam color, LED lighting inside, reactors, return pump plumbing, intake pipe sizes and qty, wire management, sock silencers (for DB 2.0) etc. Also consider that there is the filter sock version (Dreambox 2.0) and the Fleece Roller version (Dreambox 3.0).

Lastly is shipping which will run several hundred door to door on one built at the factory. We don’t have much in US stock at the moment and the ones we get are typically full systems with pumps, skimmer etc.

Once you know exactly what you want, we can get a final quote prepared. Most options are priced out on the website. The pricing with VAT in euro is pretty close to US dollar cost.
