Upgrade to Biocube 14
My friend and I recently switched from a 10g tank to a biocube so here is the picture of the transformation. Nothing died in the process and there was no mini cycle so it went very well.

I'd love to have a mandarin. Did you do anything special to get him eating frozen food?

Nothing really that special. He seemed interested in frozen in the store so we took a chance. We started him on brine just so that he'd get used to coming to the turkey baster for food. Then we started mixing in mysis and rods food. He started going after the mysis and now that's what he eats. He's only into mysis and brine, but I still see him pecking pods off rocks. He's gotten nice and fat in the ~4-5 weeks we've had him and seems to be getting fatter daily.

tank looks great! the red planet could have bleached because there isnt enought light or some kind of swing in your perams.
