Help me id this please
I found this on top of a cerith snail, anyone knows what it is and if its good or bad? The red arrow indicates where a black thing goes out like a snake tongue...

Looks like a barnacle. Harmless filter feeder.

Enjoy him while you can keep him alive---alas, filter feeders other than corals have a poor record in our tanks. Rod's food might help him out; or maybe Coral Frenzy
