Snail id

Bought some spiny star snails and this guy was hitchhiking on one of them. Anyone know what kind of snail it is and if its reef safe?

It's probably Euchelus atratus. They like to hide, and are usually found under rocks or slabs with sponge growth. Circumstantial evidence says they graze on sponges and probably whatever else is under the rocks.
