Supermarin 300 pump on Supermarin 250 ?

I’ve just purchased a used Bubbleking Supermarin 250 but it has arrived with what appears to be a Supermarin 300 pump ie 60 watts and white pump head. As it’s the DC version and can be adjusted I’m assuming (?) that it’s not going to cause any issues ? The skimmer body is definitely a SM250 as it is engraved on the stand pipe support.

Yep. Just fine and it will run just as it should. Run it between 36-38 watts for best performance on that size skimmer. Use the speed to get the most dense foam you can which like I said should be between 36-38w for best contact time on the 250.
