Sad BTA

I just got this BTA delivered last night from an online dealer. It looks like he has damage to his foot and he's spitting out guts. Think the poor guy can pull through?

Man that does not look great. They are hardy creatures. I would give it some time and don’t change anything. It will move to a happy place when ready. When or if it begins to let loose of a grip with its foot, I would then be worried..hope this helps

It's actually looking a little better tonight. Mouth is open but definitely looks better.

Great yes that does look better. If you feed it some shrimp it might help it recover a bit too

I have been reading all day and I've seen feed it and I've seen don't feed it for at least a week. I'm not really sure what to do at this point. I just want him to pull through.

Ya you can read stuff all day but until you have your own experience with it, you will never know lol. It does not need to be fed, but it can’t hurt it. If it doesn’t stick or it doesn’t take it, then just play the waiting game

Thank you for the help. I'll try to feed him tomorrow and see if he wants it.

Yes he is. I wouldn’t have tried to feed him with the first pictures you posted, but safe for sure to try now.
