Redsea Max170 skimmer suggestion?

I have been looking at Lifereef SVS2-24 and the MTC HSA-250. I talked to the guy at MTC and he said can make this into a venturi instead if I like.

Which one would you go with? Or another suggestion? I also heard Nyos 120 good skimmers as well but I think that is needlewheel skimmer correct?

I also seen the MVX-26 but I think footprint is too big for my sump.

My sump skimmer section is 11.625″ x 9″

I also talked to Jeff at Lifereef to be honest I think he was a pain telling me that his skimmer is the best since his competion the skimmer will be obsolete within a year. That isnt the case with MTC as well since it requires a seperate pump. I like the idea which looks like the MTC can come apart and clean easily unlike the Lifereef or am I mistaken?

Thanks
