New giganteas

Last Saturday I scored a blue gig at a local store, They had 4 when I arrived, 2 larger ones that were clearly sick and two smaller ones that looked good.
I took a healthy

This was it on the 1st day:

It still looked good the next day, until I turned the power-strip with pumps and heaters of the QT tanks off to do a water change on the QT with my bicinctus.
Within minutes it deflated and started expelling zooxanthellae:

Day 7, after 5 doses of Cipro:

It didn't deflate anymore but was still expelling some zooxanthellae

Day 8, after 6 doses of Cipro:

Bleached, but it seems to be good now.
I decided to skip the 7th Cipro dose since I'm running a bit low on Cipro and the anemone clearly didn't like it too much.

This Saturday I picked up the second small one they had, a purple one. (I also picked up a bleached but otherwise healthy looking magnifica and, at another store, scored 2 sick haddoni literally for free.)

This is the purple gig. Under actinic light, its tentacle tips really pop:

It spilled some half-digested food, but once in the QT its mouth was firmly closed:

Given that the didn't get sick within a week, I hope I might not need to treat it.

Here a video of both giganteas:

They were both still looking fine this "morning" (or rather noon).

If the blue one stays like this until Tuesday I will put it into the 100 gallon tank for recovery and to color up again.
But Tuesday I need the tank for a new tan gig from LA...

Moved the blue gig to the 100 gallon tank for recovery and to color up. Within minutes it found a new guest to host...

The new purple expelled a few zooxanthellae on Sunday but seems so far otherwise fine.
Unfortunately, the blue-white LED bulb I used on the QT died and I had to replace it for now with a standard 5000 K Daylight bulb.
