Group Buy: 2 part + Mag Flake, maybe carbon and GFO too.
I'm willing to bankroll and do the leg work to orchestrate, divide and distribute a group buy on 2 part + Mag flake for anyone interested. What I need is someone to help me do the leg work to track down suitable products and supply companies within driving distance.
For sure we can get an order of Soda Ash, Magnesium Chloride and Magnesium Sulfate. What seems to be in question is the Calcium Chloride, as the issue of bromide still seems to be without final answer. Randy Holmes-Farley's responses are leaning towards the new Dow Flake looking more and more positive for daily supplementation. He's already suggested that the level of bromide is low enough that if the Calcium Chloride is only used for augmenting makeup water, rather than daily dosing, it should never be an issue. So, who's interested, and in how much, and who has leads on locations for buying this stuff. Heck, while I'm at it, we can look for GFO and carbon (Brian, you're carbon is on or off the market?) too.

Pete,
I still have so much Mag Flake and Calcium Chloride (Dow Flakes) from the last group buy that I coordinated. You might want to check Sierra Chemical Company in West Sacramento. http://sierrachemicalcompany.com/ Minh |

You might be able to wiggle out where MikeB was able to get 150 lbs of GFO for dirt cheap?
