Can anybody tell me what this is? I just noticed it the other day, don’t know where it would have come from.

I thought the same thing, but it’s so small. Also, this rock is over 2 years old and it’s just now popping up? Where did it come from? Lol

Thats wierd then. Did you just look at that side of the rock now? It could have been super small and grown and you just know saw that side of the rock but only you know

This rock came out of my 93 gallon cube, it’s in a biocube now. This rock use to have a huge red monti on it, I’ve never seen anything else on it before. This is actually growing on a dead piece of the monti that’s still on the rock.

Looks like goniapora or alveapora. Is it close to another colony or frag? Must’ve been a hitchhiker on another coral. No matter what that’s great
