Chocolate chip star for harlequin

I recently acquired a harlequin shrimp, as well as an extra tank to farm it's diet of chocolate chip starfish. However i do not have a bone cutter to cut the sea stars legs off in order to feed the Harlequin. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what else may work to remove a chocolate chip starfish's arm?

I haven't tried, but the guy at my great LFS made it sound like a bone cutter is the only option. I have no idea where to come about obtaining a bone cutter.

They are usually sold as a fragging utensil. They're just sharp pliers.

Meat cleaver and a chopping block would work.

I used a meat cleaver. Works great. I used to have two harlequin shrimps.
