9410 skimmer magnet mod.

I have an older 9410 with the brackets and I was wondering if I could use some of my old magnets from my 6025 pumps. Does it matter which side of the magnet goes in the water. Some of my magnets are the older style and some are the newer style.

9410 or 9010? The 9410 just sits on its base, no rail or magnet. 9010 would need the old style H magnets which I do have.

With the sump kit you won't need a magnet, it will just stand on the bottom, the right magnet is 6080.500.

So do you glue the magnet to the skimmer? Or do they attach to the rail system?

Side not my old 6080.500 one of the magnet is bulged can you leave that side out of the tank and still use the magnet?

This is a ComLine Doc 9010 skimmer.

That will work with the 6080.500, the magnet clicks on to the tabs and locks on the same way the rails did.
