Now it shows out of stock?
My tracking info that was sent to me over 24 hours ago still shows nothing. Someone emailed me and keeps saying it shipped yet UPS does not show that they have received it. So I am not sure what the real answer here is? Did you get the 10000 in and ship the one I bought and paid for or what? |

I'll check into it immediately and let you know. The live inventory system is supposed to prevent such issues, but with the move, it may be that they can't locate that container yet...

I guess it has skipped two days of scanning. I have a commercial UPS account and have never seen that.
It now shows to have departed my local hub. |

That actually happened to me once - lost 2 days in Atlanta... Glad to hear it's close to you now. Please let us know if there's any further difficulty!

So my 10000 should arrive tomorrow. Has anyone figured out how to connect to apex or is this still pending?

Direct response from Neptune:
"I can't say in public format, several threads about this on our forum, here is one: http://forum.neptunesystems.com/show...light=Waveline So maybe something at MACNA, but officially, per Neptune Systems policies, I cannot make comment on pending product compatibility. IMO, best response is, "Email RLSS and MANCA is just around the corner folks." Best, Paul"

reelredfish: PM sent regarding your order, and how to get things set up so it won't happen in the future.

It seems like these gen2's have a much better track record. How is everyone's holding up?
I can't find info on the speed increments of the dc6000. For example: Speed 6 = 100%, speed 5 = ?%, speed 4 = ?%, etc. I'm contemplating between the waveline and jebao, almost $100 difference. Although the gen2 wavelines seem pretty hardy now.

Well mine has been running since 7/28 not that long but has worked good.
I notice the control box gets rather warm which worries me for long term. I even made some spacers to keep it off the wall about a 1/4" for air flow. What have others done to keep it cool? |

Anybody who has had a pump die on them, what are the signs that it's dying? I have a RLSS skimmer with DC 6000, and have noticed lately that when the pump turns back on after the feed mode, it doesn't seem to actually power up all the way. With all the same settings, the water level in the skimmer is much lower than what it used to be and even turning it all the way up, I can't seem to get the pump to power up like it used to (I've taken the pump apart and checked the impeller). I'll be posting in the RLSS Skimmer thread as well, but wanted to ask here for any experiences with the pump starting to die.

I just had a Jebao DC-12000 fail on me. It has been my return pump for almost a year. Bought directly from Ali express.
It seems the power brick is overheating and causes a cut-off. Might need to look into sourcing a replacement power brick locally. Or find a way to run the brick cooler. |

Just an update. Having trouble trying to source a similar power pack from my local shops (not many appliances use 24V, 6A) I've made my own power supply using an off the shelf Mean Well power supply module. It was rated 24V, 6.5A. Since I don't run my pump at full load, I think the extra 0.5A is negligible. Pump is back in service.

Got the DC-6000 about 18 months ago and I have noticed rust on the so called titanium screws and also around other places on the pump. I would be very careful if you are considering getting any of these pumps. Not very happy at the moment.

Thanks for the information although not a good sign with all these rust issues. I did get mine from Premium Aquatics and will contact them to see what can be done. Even though the warranty has expired these things should not happen.

Got the replacement part for the rust issue on my return in the main today. Kudos to Premium Aquatics for helping me out getting the replacement part quickly even though it technically was not under warranty anymore.
Let's see if this one will hold up better. Although I would like to replace the whole pump to something stronger and more proven since I also have reliability issues with the current pump. I don't want to have to pry the impeller lose once every two weeks or so because it is somehow getting stuck. Here is a picture of how the old rusty cover looked like. Not a pretty sight for just over a year of usage. |
