Thanks, at some point you have to say big enough. Think I passed that point.

Appreciate it Wayne, isn't you tank coming Friday??

I need to get someone over here with tank photo skills. It is very hard to get good shots & keep everything in focus.

Just went through this entire thread and wow your tank looks amazing. Dream Dimensions and its clear a lot of thought and effort went into this tank. Updated shots including under the stand would be great.

I take a few under the stand tonight. Think I need to clean a little first. Its amazing how no matter how big your tank is, there is never enough room under the stand....

Effort, putting it thru that window was definitely a lot of effort, glad the wife was out shopping when we installed. I gave her some cash & told her she would be happier if she was not home during installation.

Mixed success with SPS.

I have had saltwater for 30+yrs but have only tried SPS in this tank (2yrs). I have definitely found buying frags from other reefers is the way to go. They are more adapted to tank conditions & thrive a lot easier.

It's heart wrenching to watch one turn white while the one next to it is growing like a weed.

Appreciate the compliments. I need to get a lens to get better depth of field. Its hard to keep them all in focus as the tank is 4' wide-.

It it funny that you mention your success with frags from other reefers. I was just looking at a few of my colonies today thinking the exact same thing. All of the frags that I received from fellow reefers are at least twice the size of the ones I purchased from a LFS. It is so strange how these beautiful species grow and react to their environments.

AJT - if this hasnt been said yet i will say it, you are a reef god! Mad props to you! And your houston located! I have read this entire thread and even gasped when i read about your fish disease(sorry to bring it up). I have convinced my wife to let me build a tank of my own. If i can move her over to the tank side, who know what the future holds. I would love to see this beast sometime

good idea on the chiller! The amount of thought that went into that plumbing is mind blowing. Makes my 90 look like a nano.

If the chiller is inside the heat it produces is incredible. I had my 200 gallon with the same set up.

I had a lot of help with the plumbing, in fact I was a gopher for a lot of it.

I have to give credit to my good friend John for plumbing.

I have a friend with a business that does it for me, he would rather not be named.

I'm a vette guy too!
