The Walking Dead—Tank Tours

I know many folks here haven’t hosted a pizza Night. This isn’t the walking dead show, we don’t all bite Post up if you’d be willing to have a few of us stop by for a tank tour. The group is small and very respectful.

My tank sucks balls but I'll ask wifey if she'd be down for it. As long as you guys/gals are gentle.

Congrats on graduating Thanks for offering as well, it’s been a few years since we’ve seen tanks from more than a small handful of SLASH’ers.

Aside from the balls, game on Everyone is gentle except Kego’s indoor voice can be like a coach at a HS football game. We can kick him in the balls before going inside

Do any dates in March or April work for either of you?

My tank isn't at my house, but I'd be happy to host the group here at the office.

Since I can't have any alcohol at the office, my tank would probably be a first stop of the night kind of thing. I'm 1 mile from Corals n More.

Options of Feb. 13th, 14th, 15th, 19th, 20th, 21st for starters. Do any of those work better than others?
Any particular restaurant you would recommend?

Do you have a particular date in May or June you would want to do a tour? Sounds like we would have to meet a Coralsnmore for convenience sake but what restaurant would you want to patronize after?

LOL I have three kids. Planning that far in advance is asking a lot. I will talk to the wife tonight and see if she's down.

I'll look at the calendar. Will let you know.

There's no lack of restaurants here in St. Chuck, so it just depends on what you're looking for. May/June would mean Main Street would be nice. Hendricks, Trailhead, Llwelyns are all solid choices.

Streets of St. Charles has Dewey's Pizza, Bar Louie, Pieology, Mission Taco, and (with a twist of irony) Wasabi Sushi.

My office is only a few miles up the road from Marine Solutions as well. Like 10 minutes. Lots of good restaurant choices that direction as well. I know the owners of Rack House Kitchen Wine Whiskey. They have a great patio area. They also have a cigar room if you're into that. John, one of the owners, is a bit of a cigar and whiskey fanatic.

He also used to have a couple reef tanks. I got some of my stuff from him when he shut his down. I keep talking to him about setting one up in the restaurant, but he's resistant so far.

I like the sound of the Rack House. We have never been there as a group and I have only been there once for a drink.

If we ever go for a Pizza day (weekend) to KC I would suggest one of these food tours.

Also right around where this tour takes you are 6 micro breweries and 2 micro distilleries.

Any particular date you have in mind? I wouldn't even mind having two in one month if you want to.

I just realized I never responded with a date that works. I'd say May 10. It's a Thursday.

If that date works for everyone else, that gives me 5 months to get my tank in shape.

Marine Solutions as a meeting point? I already have Coralsnmore for February.
