Calcium reactor recommendation

Hi All

I don't usually ask for recommendations but I am in need of a high production calcium reactor. My tank is using in excess of 3 dKH of Alk per day.

I had (well sort of still do) a Reef Octopus CR5000 9" but inadvertently broke it beyond repair. The 5000 is no longer available.

I would use an aquamaxx as the pump can be taken off for maintenance without need to drain the reactor.

I only have experience with GEO brand, and the build quality is second to none. Ease of set up and a variety of sizes to pick from.

I just purchased a Geo/Masterflex pump combo. Although I have not set up yet I have heard many great reviews. I also heavily considered a Dastaco but the wait time for a shipment to the states was long which concerns me if replacement parts would be needed.

Oh I love the Dastaco, but like Tom said the shipping time concerns me for future issues if they arise. Although it seems people love them! They aren't cheap at all but I hear they are easy to set up and maintain.

Consider Lifereef. I am running one. Easy to set up and operate.

I use the Aquarium Plants dual stage regulator and the feed pump is a Cole Parmer Masterflex pump. The feed rate I was at with my Reef Octopus was
ml/minute.

I'm using a T3 and I love it. Easy maintenance since don't need to drain the reactor.

Supposed to arrive on Monday. Tough to get as I could only find 2 online vendors and they kept running out. Seems, as soon as Aquamaxx gets any inventory , it almost immediately sells out.
