Which submersible/reefsafe pad for acrylic scratch removal

Hello, as per title. Looking to manually buff out scratches on the inside of the tank without harming the animals or draining the tank. Thanks

Ultra fine grit (8000-12000 grit) sandpaper..

Can u use the sand paper under water,wont it create a kind of sludge since what would be dust would become a sludge underwater, i dont know im just asking as id like to clean up a few scratches on the inside of my tank without draining it

Also when i did my outside glass the sand paper made it cloudy and i had to polish it back to a shine,part of the process,so how would one polish back to a shine underwater

Not an issue.. yes there would be some acrylic particulate in the water.. Its not a problem.. Run a mechanical filter during the process if you want..
Its a very tiny amount.
