I've reached 0 phosphates

Not so much a goal but everyone always said you can't have 0 and now I've done it

No, you haven't. You just can't detect it.

Phosphate is required in our tanks. If your tank is alive you don't have 0 phosphates, you have un-measurable phosphates.

What test kit?

I'd think that far more of nitrates not phosphates..
Un-measurable phosphate levels is simple to achieve.. not so much with nitrates..

But hey.. I'll party with ya..

My phosphates and nitrates are both un measurable. Of course, I don't have any test kits either

I had super low (undetectable) phosphates too and my corals hated it. I have to try and raise them on a regular basis. SPS dominated tank BTW.

If you had 0 phosphates then the only thing that would be in your tank is ro/di water phosphates are in everything. The only thing your test kit tests for are inorganic phosphates not organic phosphates
