Thanks for the kind words. The first tank I have about 20 hours in to it . The second tank around 30 hours.
It's a slow procees. I build a rock base and then wait 24 hours for the epoxy to dry and then move on to the next layer.
Yeah what's up with the chicken leg???
I used taptalk to download the pics and video, maybe it came from them ?

The "Suichoku Tana" style consists of elements. First a Vertical wall or pinnacle, Second an odd number horizontal shelves 5,7,9. Lastly a separate stand alone structure or island. Also i like to only have coral placement on the rock structure not on the sand. This gives a more dramatic look and contrast between the rock and sand. As I progress with these projects I will post more pics.

Great job, James.

I looked it up, Suichoku Tana translates to 'big weird bird leg'!

I do like the negative space the clean sand bed give you

I like the contrast between a clean sand bed with minimal corals and the colorful rock and corals .

Totally James, this "hobby" is more art than anything else once we get past the just keeping stuff alive stage. Always striving for that perfect look. Whatever that is to each of us.
