Mantis requirements

I want a peacock mantis. I have a glass 40 breeder. Do I need to replace the glass aquarium with an acrylic one? Pet smart sells acrylic aquariums? Are they any good?

a 40B glass is thick enough. Breaking aquarium glass is kind of a myth. Perhaps if you put the largest peacock you could find in the thin glass walls of a 5 gallon tank, it might break. I wouldn't worry about getting an acrylic one.

I read your article about Glass vs Acrylic for mantis shrimps and I was wondering what did you pick in terms of aquarium and in terms of Mantis. Since I an bare new here I can't even PM you!
