Only upgrade is toss it in the trash. Eventually it will lock up and no longer work and Vertex is bankrupt and out of business.

Unless you have the new one, which only about a handful went out, you are wasting your time. The powerbar hardware was faulty and the reason for the complete redesign, but good luck !! Personally I think you’d be better served saving yourself time and aggravation and just toss it out.

Thanks for advice Kali, I think I'm going just use shell of powerbars an replace control board with something new..
You might be right as it's also old technology..

Or maybe just turn the powerbar into a surge protector.

Wondering if someone can help me put a number to an Illumina sr200 I'm looking to sell. It's 72" long, 3 pads seem to have a diode that is not firing (hard to tell because the light is blinding). Replaced clock battery and plexiglass splash shield. Everything works and unit has been cleaned top to bottom (fans and fan raceway etc...). Is $600 too much/little??? Tore tank down otherwise I wouldn't sell.

Brought some life back to my good old trusted illumina fixture. Mounted 2 Orphek OR3 UV/Violet LED bars. My SR260 has just the original pads, never upgraded.

I'm sure it can be replaced by a new unit from Mean Well.

Don't know if anyone has any support or insight to offer anymore on these lights. Before I give up and replace my 260, I'll ask here to see what I can try.

I have one module (#2) that will not work. I've tried all I can think of any some of what I've found here with no success. I ran a diagnostic on the unit and the module shows no values and a firmware version of 1. I've tried all methods of updating the firmware for the module with no success. It will go through the upload process fine but when it finishes it gives the error that the firmware update failed for module #2(error new version mismatch(1 vs 2162)). I am updating it with the v2162 firmware so do not understand this error.

Do not know if this was posted, since I have been out for a while. This is v-link desktop software file.

My light is officially done now and replaced with a pair of Radion G5s I'll try to sell the Vertex for parts if there is interest. The power supplies are still good and I have the V-Link usb stick. There are now two pads that malfunction.

Edit: I did discover that by resetting all pads in the software, they will all work until it is disconnected from power and then it's back to the same issue with the same two pads not lighting.
