Fluval Evo 13.5G Nano
After finishing college and starting my career, I am finally in my new home with my wife and able to start planning a new tank. Currently I am planning and acquiring equipment for a red sea reefer 425xl, however for the time being I took advantage of a black Friday sale and picked up the 13.5 gallon Fluval Evo.
I started cycling the tank about 2 weeks ago. Everything is stock with the addition of a fluval powerhead and the fluval PS2 skimmer (not yet installed). Attached are a couple of pictures the day I added water. Enjoy! |

What are your thoughts on the light? Are you going to do corals? I have been looking at this, but was thinking I'd have to upgrade the lighting to grow most corals.

Try to up your lighting to 95 watts of LED. And find something that is dimmable in case you go to high. Also the ad said that some parts were made out of aluminum. I don't think Al is going to hold up to salt water. |

My wife got Me an EVO 13.5g for my bday. Just set it up and began cycling with LR and LS on Friday. I added the Fluval protein skimmer and a Koralia 425 for added circulation. Looks great so far. Starting small!

Im very interested in the EVO 13.5G setup too. Will be keeping softies and LPS. Will the stock setup out of the box work, especially the lights and pump?
