Foam head stopped suddenly

My doublecone 180 RD3 has been kicking *** since I got it until just a few days ago. All of a sudden there is just zero foam head being made. Nothing changed on the tank, nothing was added or taken away. The skimmer looks new it's so clean, I've taken it apart and put back together seven times trying to make sure it's correctly setup.

Anything else I can do?

Your making bubbles and the water line in the skimmer is well above the water level in the sump. As such, the pump appears to be working just fine. Something has had to change the surface tension of your water. This is typically caused by oily foods such as mysis but in that case, the foam head will come back before long. Another thing that can cause it is hypo salinity but that is unlikely. Something must have changed in your system. You can double check the pumps venturi inlet to make sure there is no salt creep but that typically will cause an overflow as would the foam filter being clogged.

My suggestion would be to give it a few days and it should return to normal.

LOL... Fish tanks are the craziest things.. Something was effecting your surface tension like I said. Glad to hear it's back to normal!
