Radion xr30 gen 4 is it enough

Need some good input. I have a 20x20 cube I am putting together and it is going to be an spa dominant tank. I can grab a radion xr30gen 4 (non pro version) for a good deal. I can’t find hardly any info on the non pro version, seems like everyone goes for the pro version.

My question is, will the spectrum of the xr30 gen 4 be good for sps. I know the light is strong enough, but does the non pro version have the options for the ab+ and similar options.
Thanks everyone.

Absolutely yes. I ran a gen 1 over my 20x20 cube and my acros grew like weeds.

I always tend to go overkill on my tanks so I’d still say the xr30. Two LED pucks will have more output than one. I usually buy my equipment to “future proof” my tanks for upgrades, but that’s just me. I’m sure a 15 wouldn’t be bad, I’d just be more keen to go with the 30 for the increased coverage.

As far as things to look for, make sure it’s never hit water, look for signs of that. Find out what intensity it’s been run at. I can’t think of much else. They’re a great light and seem to last a long while.
