Albino frenatus clownfish

Hi guys, ive recently discovered that my frenatus pair are heterozygous for albinism and throw out a number of albino offspring in each clutch. Im new to breeding clowns and have only raised up a few batches over the last year or so.

Has anyone else seen albino frenatus clowns before?

Andrew

But to answer your question, I personally haven't seen this before.

What are the odds, considering BOTH parents must be carriers of the gene in order to express it in the next generation?

Quite correct, Marcel was breeding A.Occellaris. Isnt it uncanny that I have A.Frenatus producing albinos and we live approx. 50km from eachother. Must be something in our Cape water??

I don't know how to load them to this thread so I've created an album on my profile, so you can check them out there.
