What’s this hitchhiker?
Any idea what this hitchhiker is? It’s about 3/4 inch long and small tentacles come out out night.

I don't recognize the brown thing, but there are little white tubes that can proliferate in the sand and produce tentacles. Maybe somebody else will recognize it. The brown thing looks like a shred of algae.

Based on you description and the not so good picture, it might be a clam or a scallop.

Some sort of Bivalve would be my guess as well.

I had one of those for a while, never figured out what it was but it was never a problem either.
