For enclosures, the last few build I've done were with these, super versatile, but not all drivers will fit inside, I use the small LDD-L drivers in them and it fits inside nicely-
https://www.rapidled.com/premium-enclosures/ They are pretty versatile for some ambitious projects too-

Does anyone know where to get the Files for 02Surplus latest designs? It seems he's been inactive for over a year.

Wow.....it saddens me to hear this. Aaron helped me out a great deal as well.
I originally wanted to use the meanwell 1400 drivers that have a slightly different pin out. he spent a ton of time walking me through how he thought I could modify his boards. In the end, the mod still would not run the 1400 drivers, but he then sent me additional board with his home grown 1400 drivers...... I cant even tell you how many emails back and forth we had......he was actually looking at modifying his boards to enable the use the the higher powered 1400ma drivers....... I never met Aaron, but in talking to him and communicating with him, he seemed fairly young (compared to me anyway), and it sounded like he worked a ton!!!! Was a really SMART and GREAT guy!!!!! his contributions to the DIY of this hobby are legendary!!!! RIP Aaron!!!! |

I don't think the big boys will fit, no. Maybe the one's with wires will, but it would be pretty tight.

Scruncing the wires down on the LDD-HWs is about 5/8ths height..Same depth as LDD-H body plus pins..
Ldd hs's (side surface mount) are prob the same depth.. Actually the Hs's look to be only 1/2" tall per spec sheet.. 11.4mm give or take .45mm |

I have a question for anyone using Aaron’s (RIP) 6 LDD-H/dual SCW Pcb. How is the power getting to the nano and BF mini? His first post showing the pcb with only power to VIN and both are powered up. The only way I can get power to them is by supplying power directly to one of them.
Thanks Dave |

I don’t have this board handy - do you have a picture? I can try to work out what should go where.

NOTE : updated wifi..ESP8266 WiFi Don't think he used multiple inputs and had some voltage regulators on board.. Should be a pic of the bf board in this thread..I believe Post 3432 may help.. Think just the Wifi card was changed.. http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/sh...7#post24692477 This board? Or this: opps same board.. Last edited by oreo57; 01/08/2019 at 11:33 PM. |

8 up driver board has 8 smd resistors so assume yes...........
Personal soapbox time. They are annoying..(any non-config pull down so to speak) RapidLED boards w/ jumper-ed pull downs is arguably of course a better idea.. Aids builders in troubleshooting. As I said very personal opinion.. |

Theatrus- I have it wired the same as the second photo in oreo57s post. When power is connected to the pcb, only the led between the SWC slots illuminates. Not the one on the BF mini or the nano.

I apologize for the late reply. I think Oreo replied and probably more knowledgeable than I. But I believe so. I added all 1000mA LDD's and it properly converts. While they work they are not the best due to the wire connectors.
I'm in the process of swapping them out now with Theatrus drivers for this reason. That and I'm already using his chip.

Forgot about those.. still BF mini only takes 5V not 12 AFAICT.. soo still need
a voltage regulator.. But yea the op's problem could be a dead meanwell power "box"..or busted pin, broken trace ect ect.. THINK you might have the answer.. Or one of the "100" jumpers he used.. There was an explanation somewhere for them.. |

So obvious from the second photo. I’ll try and get 2 of the SWC. Hopefully it will work. Thank you for the reply.
