Very nice,...what are the dimensions of your tank, and is it stand alone or dose your main system run through it? Thanks,---Rick

If your referring to mine......
Its attached to the display run through this for filtration. The dimensions are 48X24X12, it's a deepblue. Can't beat the price for theses tanks, though I did have to clean up the silicone a bit. I use a dosing pump for B-Ionic.

I do not have much room in my small fish room. How small can you make a frag tank?

Would not mind seeing some pics of those with really small frag tanks?

Hoping to see some of those micro frag tanks where they are plumbed to the main system.

How do the frags fare with the LED lighting, I know the algae doesn't seem to have a problem with it. I've heard several horror stories about frags and LED's where the color just pops but the growth isn't all there.

Here is my 30g Cube, connected to my 220g tank/30g sump. I have a 4th frag rack it is just in my display acclimating all my sps corals to the light right now.

This will be just SPS when the tank is growing well. May be a year before its much of a frag tank but till then I can shut off the return and use it as a QT (without meds lol)

Currently it has a Jebao RW-4 and a 175w MH

24x24x12

Guess I'll post pics of mine before I move it. Gotta setup another one soon as it's getting way to crowded! 18" cube, ai hydra, jebao wave maker with 10g sump/fuge. Sorry for the square pic, had to rip it off my Instagram.

so question for people with a really large DT and fish room for hte DT do you set up your prop tank on the system or is it a stand alone tank? i would love to hear the pros and cons of both.

kutcha,
In my situation, since my prop tank is growth output from my display tank, I decided to keep it all on the same system.

however, if I was to mainly regularly buy/swap coral and propagate from them, then I would set up a second system, as to not create a potential issue if something was to get introduced that could affect the display tank.
