I'll check. Server should be ok.

It looks like the hosting company did me a favor I never asked for and deleted the entire directory of files.

Yay

I will get them up on another host ASAP.

All of my HV LEDs are out, I have replaced the HV pucks and they still don't work. Glad I bought such a quality fixture!!

The unit failed before it was even a year old, unfortunately by time I realized the HV were not firing I was out of my one year warrantee.

GHL used to have great customer service when Aqua-digital was in charge, unfortunately I can not say the same now. Now the rep comes off as arrogant and doesn't seem to care about customer satisfaction. Very sad to see such a promising company be poorly represented in N America, hopefully they address this issue.

I'm very disappointed, I was getting good results when the light worked properly, now I'm going back to MH.

That sucks sorry to hear it's all gone down hill, sadly I have nothing to do with the day to day running anymore. But the unit does have a 2 year warranty so if a warranty case you would be still covered!

Thanks Michael,

I was unaware of this warranty info, I'll have to contact my rep.

Regardless, YOU HAVE always been more than helpful with any issues I've had, very professional and courteous. I appreciate all the help you continue to offer!!

Iv had the same thing happen and as you, can't find the cause, luckily for me, my supplier has been second to none, he's been to my house twice trying to sort things out, to no avail, he's now going to lend me a lamp so he can send one of mine back to ghl.

I will admit, it's all very frustrating, I'm wondering if anyone else have this problem and haven't noticed as yet.

Curious, how did you determine that those LEDs were not working?

Buildinboats-
I noticed it because I run the HV throughout the whole
Lighting schedule, at sunrise and sunset they are only on with royal blue LED. One sunrise I noticed only royal blue was lit, not HV and royal blue like it was supposed to be.

This led me to hook up light to my light composer and see what was up. I then adjusted HV from 0-100% with no other color LEDs on and there was no light.

I then resumed my normal lighting schedule and the HV continue to remain off.

GHL sent me new HV pucks which I changed, still not working.

Now I have spoke with them again and fortunately I'm still under warranty and they are working with me to fix the problem.

I will say, I am very happy with this run of customer service, GHL is standing behind their product,. Thanks GHL!

This light does work when it is functioning properly, it was growing and coloring many different Aussie SPS. I look forward to getting a light in good working order and resuming experiments, ultimately trying to grow and color SPS with only a full spectrum LED fixture.

Hi. What are your settings for -

1 Energy - high output or high effeciency, and %
2 Height of lamp above water.
3 Your Max total % for each individual light channel

I think it's pointless trying someone's light file if you don't know these settings as the differences in PAR can be massive.

I am correct that guideline for height is 12".

I have an 8x2x2 tank. Will 4-5 mitras 6200 cover my tank well? I currently have 4 AI Vega Color over my tank now and the coverage is decent but there is a lot of shadowing going on in my tank.

Correct me if I am wrong but skimming thru this thread, it looks like the mitras reduce a lot of the shadowing you get from other led fixture with the use of more pucks and reflectors essentially acting more like a T5 fixture correct?

Also, are the mitras now controllable via a MAC? I've been reading a lot of old post so I just wanted to get a clear update before dropping some major coin. What mounting options are available for the mitras? Is there a rail kit to join 4-5 mitras together?

I also have one more question not related to the mitras but for the ghl doser if anyone has experience. Does GHL not offer a slave doser anymore? You have to buy two stand alone dosers if you want more than 4 pumps?

4 Mitras will easily cover that size tank.

The fixtures can be programmed on a Mac when you run either Bootcamp or Parallels.
