What an inspiration , makes me want to plan a large tank project with self built customs .

That's the good stuff.... Love the tanks. I have a similar idea in the back of my head. Between 6-8 hundred gallons though. Except mine will not be glass.
{Does anyone know if Lexan is suitable for aquariums in place of acrylic????} Where will you put the BIG tank, in place of the 500?? BTW. LED's have come leaps and bounds since you started this thread. Seriously, seriously look into the new stuff. I have also not seen anything about a tank controller, Neptune Apex, Reefkeeper?? What are you planning? This new tank sounds like it could become a full time job if you let it.. Not a problem for us reef junkies. Cheers.. |

Great thread! I can hardly wait now to finalize the plans I have for my aquarium and get started myself. What better DIY project could there be than building your own aquarium exactly the way you want it!
