Growing corals

Hi, Can I grow coral frags on coral skeletons or only rock is necessary for that. I'm just wondering coz I've both coral skeletons and rocks in my tank. I'm planning to have corals soon. Thanks

You can put coral anyplace you like. I would be cautious about having dead sps skeletons in the tank. you will get algae on them and it will be hard for hermit crabs and snails to get to the algae to clean/eat it....

Current Tank Info: 75 Gal. Mixed reef mostly sps
