Ok while waiting on my Rapid LED order I went ahead and added a few things to the sump. To cut down on noise I decided to add a reverse Durso on each drain. I could instantly tell a big difference with noise and even less micro bubbles going into the sump.

Also added a DSB to the fuge section, used a 29qt tub so it is easily removable and replaceable as the tank ages. The tub held 85 pounds of dry sand.

Rapid order came in! I now have the BlueFish controller!!! OMG this thing is sweet. Took all of 15 minutes to read the instructions, switch the jumpers to 5v PWM, and then use my phone to "Blinkup" program the device. The controller looks amazing and has an equally as impressive phone app. Also in my order were 3 break out boards for the BlueFish dimming cables, 13 400-410nm UV LEDs, 13 410-420nm UV LEDs, and MeanWell 350 Watt PSU's.

Time for pics.

Phone app.

LEDs tinned.

Starting to build the drivers.

I gutted a old PC power supply to house/cool the drivers and breakout boards.

Nice setup. Great work also.

Question on the Coralux 5up ldd driver boards since I've never seen them. I am actually using them with a pair of borealis luxeon array's but ordered them with the wires rather than the pins Does the 5up board work with the wired version of LDD's vs. the pin?

Also - I like the old power supply trick. That was a great idea and one I'll borrow if you don't mind

Thanks! The wired ldd drivers would not be friendly. The boards have headers that the ldd drivers plug into. If you have the wired ones you could possibly strip the wires back a bit and try to plug the wires into their respective socket. May work, but it's not designed that way as you know.

Really crappy YouTube video. This is with Neutral white and cool white for the lightning. I personally just like the Cool white better. Not a fan of the lightning over the tank (it scares the fish and all those arguments,) but none the less during testing it is cool.

Looks great! I just upgraded to a 180! I'm using your plan! What type lighting and return pump? Are you using 1" pvc?

Lighting is DIY LEDs and T5. This will be packed with clams and corals so color is very important to me. Right now I am using a mag9.5 return until I buy a fluval SP6 or DC pump. Plumbing is a 1.5" WYE that feeds 3 1" lines. 2 1" returns to the tank and the 3rd feeds my reactor manifold.

It's amazing 50% and my tank is rolling! I will end up with one more to do opposite pulse, but one easily rotates the water very noticeably.

Lighting has been hung on the tank tonight! The bluefish is awesome on cloud mode. It is seriously freaky seeing different channels slightly dim simulating passing clouds. Feels like I am outside on a partially cloudy day.

I will get pics up tomorrow.

Sorry, but the PVC pipe frame looks really cheap. Unless there are severe budget issues may I suggest a wooden or aluminum frame?
