Bar around my 360g reef tank yes or no?
Has any one have any pics of reef tank bars? I am thinking about putting a bar around 3 sides of my 360g tank it is 8'x4'x18'' tank. the tank sits 4'1'' off the ground.

If there is walking space between the tank and bar sure. If the bar is actually around the tank nah.

One of my LFSs has a around their 185 gallon (60"x30"x24"). It is only on two sides though. The only thing I would suggest before doing a bar is some type of canopy for the tank so there isn't any stray light in anyone's eyes.
Your tank looks pretty good BTW! |

Yes! And make everyone drink out of those little fish bowls like some places do. I'm actually planning on doing the bar thing when I finally purchase a house.

My new tank is going to have a bar around it or at least a spot to set down drinks. I had it built into the stand and it will be covered with granite to match the kitchen. There will be a back splash as well to cover the first inch of sand and the bar also works as a catwalk for maintenance as my tank is tall as well. Bar is 40" tank is 46". Great job by the way!
I hope to have it wet in the next month. Inside the entry way of my home. Cheers
