Tunze 6105 stopped working
Hi all,
I noticed today that one of my tunze 6105s wasn't working. I've recently cleaned it (I don't think it's calcium buildup around the impeller) within the past month. When I noticed it I swapped power cords with my other functioning powerhead (same make and model) and still no luck. Is there a fuse in the brick that the power cord plugs into? Thanks for the help. If you use a known good power supply on this pump it still does not work or do you mean that when use this suspect power supply on a known working pump that pump does not work? The power supply has a fuse but it is soldered in and the entire board is wrapped in a copper sandwich as a shield and it is not serviceable, the power supplies are replacement only.

I connected it to a known good power supply and the pump still isn't working. I'm trying to see what the next step is.

OK, it sounds like a pump problem, how old is it? We can certainly repair it in any case if you sent it in.

Thanks for all your help so far. I left it unplugged for 24 hours and then tried it again and it fired right up. In case a repair is needed do I have to ship it to Germany? I'm just curious. Thanks again for the assistance.

Hi Roger,
I'm thinking I may need to make arrangements to send the powerhead in to have it checked out. The same stopped working on me again. I tried power cycling it like I did before and no luck. How do we start this process? Thanks for your help!!! |
