New Drop-off Reef Tank Build

I planning a 300 gallon 40" deep drop-off reef build. I’m in the planning stages and hoping to get some advice as imp new to the whole diy tank thing. I’m planning on an 8' x 20" x 24" deep main tank with an attached 24 square 40" deep drop-off tank with a 100 gallon sump and 40 gallon refuge. I currently have a 125 gallon set up with the 100 gallon sump and ready to go bigger. So here are my initial thoughts of how the tank will be built and looking for any advice as this is my first big build.
