Stocking 45 gallon cube

Im sure this has been asked and asked again but i have a 45 gallon cube reef tank. I currently have an ocellaris clown, a bi color blenny and an assortment of snails. My plan is to add a six line wrasse possibly and deffinately a firefish goby. Im also gonna be putting a few softies and one or two lps corals. I have a reef octo bh90 as my protein skimmer. Will this stocking list be over doing it and overloading my system or do you guys think ill be alright.

Skip the 6 line they can be a pita.

Yeah, there are lots of six line wrasse horror stories out there. A flasher wrasse would be a more peaceful option. A royal gramma would be a better choice as well.

One firefish will work fine. You should probably use a screen of some sort to keep the firefish and potential wrasse from going carpet surfing.

You could get a Yellow Coris wrasse and there are many other types of different nice wrasse out there. Just cant have any Shrimp in your tank. As for the 6-line it may not be a great option, they can be mean and also you wont see them much as they hide/cruise in and out of the rocks and dont like to be out in the open.

Alrighty i appreciate the heads up. I have a glass top lid now so the firefish wont be carpet surfing unless he can lift the lid haha. I do have a shrimp at the moment and enjoy watching him so the wrasse are out. Do yall have anymore suggestions?

Fairy/flasher wrasses should be safe with your shrimp.

Others:
Royal gramma, or chalk bass, or blackcap basslett
yellowtail damsel
midas blenny
yellow watchman goby
banggai or pajama cardinal

Try a fourline wrasse. Much prettier. And in a tank of that size, just drain it and pull him out if he becomes a jerk.

I have a 50g cube and my tank mates all get along

2 - Percula Clowns in a Bubbletip
African Firefish
Leopard Wrasse
Algae Blenny
Yasha Hase Goby w/Candy Pistol

The Goby stays in the burrow opening and the Clowns are always close to their anemone. The Firefish cruises some, but not like the Wrasse.
