Toadstool Mushroom Leather

Purchased a Toadstool Mushroom Leather about 5-6 weeks ago, and it was doing great. Saturday morning I found it knocked off my rock and lying in sand, guessing a turbo snail knocked it over. Since then, it has not extended any polyps, has shrunk, and looks like it's slightly losing color (turning white.) I know these can be tempermental, but are there any suggestions as to how to get this guy happy and healthy again? he was put back in the same spot that he was thriving in for 4 weeks.
