Should I get a clam ?

(There is not much activity on the clams specific area, so I am posting here).

Really thinking about getting this clam (Tridacna crocea), its bright navy blue color with streaks of purples/lighter blues...looks awesome under blue/violet light!

The thing is I just have an AI Prime HD.... and not sure if it is sufficient lighting? I don't really have the rockwork where I could put it higher in the tank. I read I need to get a ceramic soap dish or some flat rock, instead of putting directly in the sandbed.

Of course the LFS says I have everything I need and "he will be fine in the bottom of the tank" (but LFS never lie)
