AquaMaxx TS-2 Sulfur Denitrator

Hi Everyone

I'm trying to get some feed back on the.
AquaMaxx TS-2 Sulfur Denitrator
I have been dealing with high nitrates for quite sometime to no relief. so i was think of trying out a sulfur denitrator and would like to hear from some of you that use it

Usually the problem with Nitrate reactors is getting the feed pump to go about 30 to 40 ml/m, so some people have to buy expensive 24/7 peri pumps. I have a Deltec Alcohol Nitrate reactor.

The use of sulphur for denitrification. It can be done without a sulphur denitrator kept anoxic and which is very difficult to manage due to the limited flow. The process called BADES does take place in any biioilm. No need for an expensive reactor.

BADES reactors work fine at a daily flow rate of once ore twice the total system volume.
30 to 40 ml/m is only 1.8 till 2.4 liter /h, a flow of +- 48l/day. This would be suitable for an aquarium of +- 50l or +- 13 Gal. for maintaining a nitrate level 1-2ppm. Normal flow is 4 to 5 l/h for each litre of sulphur used and may go up till 10l/h/litS. http://www.baharini.eu/baharini/doku...ess:bades:maao For a 1000 l aquarium a pump of at least 100l/h is needed, the flow is adjusted using a closed loop and valve. We use pumps of at least four times the flow needed to ensure positive flow and low resistance.
