Yellow tang in qt with red blotch over eye
Hi there I have 4 tangs (Cardinal, butterfly, unicorn and a yellow) in qt for 5 weeks now. I ran copper for 2 and and then started prazi. Day 2 of prazi I cone home to find the yellow tang with a pea sized are deep red over the eye. I panicked and did a large water change and threw in carbon thinking she didn’t like the prazi. I have been doing religious 20% water changes every other day since introduction. The fish are all separated by egg crate so common water. Filter blows on surface so lots of water movement and air introduction clear across the tank (40 breeder), ammonia badge is perfect and water changes are coming from 500 gallon DT so chemistry is great. Other 3 tangs look great. My question is... is it safe to transfer the other 3 to the DT or should I go back to finishing prazi? Treat all 4 with antibiotics like maracyn2 or just the yellow? She doesn’t seem to have much of an appetite but does eat. I feed a very mixed diet, soaking in garlic guard or selecon daily, doesn’t really care for nori like the others do. Thanks

Treat with kanamycin or something similar at 50-100mg per liter for 7-10 days. Can be caused by a secondary infection from a parasitic infestation. I would continue to treat the other fish with prazi
