deluxe 200 or 250

Hi There, planning a build now. Sent final dims to the builder this morning. Tank will be 250 gallons, 80 gallon attached frag tank, and 150 gallon sump. I plan on heavily stocking (according to you 1/2" rubric). I want the deluxe based on its ability to dry skim as well as wet skim. Should I get the 200 or the 250?
Thanks
JB

I think the 200 would be prefect but you could go either way. Bigger isn't always better though if you have a truly heavy fish load in your system the 250 would work well too. I'd be more included to run the 250 on a 400 gallon display but as I said, you could go either way. The 200 may end up being more consistent and easier to tune depending on the load. Also consider that you should base the skimmer sizing on the display size and not the system volume because our sumps don't contribute to increasing the load.
