Please help to try and ID
Today I noticed 3 clear oval bubbles growing on a piece of my live rock. I know it may be hard to tell from the picture but they about 1/2" long and abou 1/4" wide. They each have one tiny green dot and one tiny white dot in the center of each bubble. I can not figure out what they can possibly be. I also noticed this weekend 2 clams, oysters or mussels growing on 2 separate pieces of live rock. This is not a new tank, it has been up and running for approximately 6-7 years. I know sometimes things lay dorment but this seems odd in an established tank just out of the blue. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Got a better picture?
Sounds like bubble algae. (single bubbles commonly called a "sailors eyeball").https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Valonia_ventricosa

Here is a picture without the lights on. They are in the middle of the picture on the light colored rock. I do not think they are bubble algae. I have had bubble algae before. These are clear and oval not round and green.

The link below might help. There's a picture of some BA that looks almost identical to what you have.
