Considering building my own tank? Question about stingrays

So I’ve had a 29gallon reef tank and 75gallon reef tank. The 75gallon is still up and running, my 29 is now empty. I’m redoing my basement to turn into a bar. I found a place near me that sells sheets of acrylic in almost any size and was considering trying to build my own tank. Something larger than my 75 I have in my living room. Always thought it would be very cool to have a stingray tank or a shark tank. From the little bit of reading I’ve done it sounds as though rays are probably easier to keep than sharks. Is this true?? I’d much rather choose to keep whichever is supposedly easier.

So my big question would be...What size tank would be the minimum I would have to build in order to keep rays in it? And what from experience would be the easier rays to keep for someone new to that sort of fish keeping, as in only being used to keeping fish that would go in a 29 and 75gallon reef tank. Thank you for any advice you all can give me. Very excited to hopefully get into this new project very soon depending on what I find out.
