UV Flow
The max flow I can get out of my pump taking head and turns into consideration is 133GPH. The manufacturer recommends 150-267 GPH through the UV Sterilizer. It’s probably overkill with a lower flow so I’m asking if this is ok, or should I get a bigger pump?

Slower the better actually. But it all depends on what you're trying to control and how quick you want to control it.
You wont hurt anything by having water pass slowly through a UV. Just make sure you turn it off if your pump turns off. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

Thanks, just wanted to confirm my thoughts. It’s the dreaded ich I’m after. I’m a tang lover and it’s a constant battle so UV should help.
Good point about turning them off together.

Just for the record what happens if I run the uv without the pump on. All I can think of is overheating. Just wondering what kind of damage, if any, that would cause.
