XP Aqua Sumpless ATO
Anyone use one of these? I have run my 30g sumpless without an ATO for over 20 years, but i travel more these days and would like to add an ATO to keep the tank more stable while I am away.
I tried putting the Hydor smart level from my other tank on this one to see how it would work, but waiting for the water level in the 30g tank to drop roughly half an inch and replacing it at one time just didn’t seem right. It would top off maybe every 4or 5 days, so much less frequently than my manual every other day. Yeah, the tank could handle it, but I would really only use it when I was away for a week or more and be manually topping off most of the time. So what’s the point. The XP Aqua is described as being a good solution for this tank. I looked on multiple sites and reviews seem very positive, but most sites only have 1-2 reviews. So any additional feedback is appreciated. Kim
