I would be very delighted with this progress. You have achieved so much since last year. I love your tank, Brandon.

My tank started to go to **** about a month ago. I finally have the stn almost stopped. I got a couple of new wrasses and we're feeding them some fish eggs to keep them healthy and my phosphates skyrocketed for my low nutrient system. I'm getting them back and check and stuff is turning back around. I'll take some pictures of the Carnage.

Glad to here things turned. I too had the same issue. Have an Achilles tang that was super thin. Would only eat eggs. Great stuff those eggs. Just don’t feed them 3 times a day with the stuff.
Love to see your tank again in person.
Beautiful

I thought I stopped the carnage but that isn't true. I ha e bought a reef bot and it is now doing my water testing for me so that it keeps getting done. They are pretty cool machines. My tank is not happy but color is OK. I'm waiting to hear back from my ati icp test.

Here are some dt pictures since I finally scraped the glass.

You’ve got a lot of coral still looking good and some of those dying might come back. Pretty cool on the Reef Bot.

Thanks.

Here are some more pictures of it. The 5.3 alk test were because of low reagent.

Horrible. A lot of dead corals. Everything is stable and alk consumption has started going up.

Oh man... crap after crap! Sorry to hear that, Brandon.
I’ve always had amazing success with peppermint shrimp for controlling awfw..
they do an amazing job. They are not 100%effective but I basically don't see evidence of aefw in my tank even though I have never taken major action against them. - aside from having about 30 peppermints in the tank.

I have many different wrasses that will eat any shrimp. I do want to eradicate them completely though.

Sorry to hear about the struggles man.
Side note question, do you have any issues with your angel fish nipping? You seem to have good polyp extension

I am excited by the results of the first dip! I hope my losses are not too great but over half the corals responded immediately to being free of those pests. Most of the heavily infested corals went right in the trash with only out for active saved. My Angelfish will devour some zoanthids but has not picked on my SPS at all.

Interesting. I have two dwarfs in my tank and get NO polyp extension. It’s not the end of the world and I see plenty of people that have great PE with angel fish, can’t blame mine totally on them since I never see them do it but everything except for PE is going well in my tank for the most part.
Thanks for the fast reply

Corey
