Cast Acrylic Cost

Does this sound about right price wise?

$10 per custom cut panels(less than 12"x12")
6 panels including 2 internal baffles for
an AIO filter. So close to $100 for an drop in, internal filter not including
price of pump, glue, return nozzles, hose,etc..

You made no mention of thickness..
But these guys have great pricing on acrylic..
https://www.estreetplastics.com/Plex...Clear-s/21.htm

There an off the shelf 12x12 x 1/4" clear piece is $5.59
They have tons of colors,etc... too.. All my acrylic comes from them.. best pricing I've found so far..

They will cut them too for you to whatever size if you don't have a table saw and have the weldon glue,etc...

Thanks, will check out the link

I was looking at acmeplastics, thickness price is same from
1/8-1/4”

so is it ok to use standard super glue to bond the CA panels?

If you don't want to use weldon 3 or 4 with a syringe then at least use weldon 16...
But IMO.. Don't even do it if you are just going to use superglue.. Will it work.. yes of course.. But you will be happier doing it "right" and not have the crappy looking joints that super glue will have..

1.5 fl. Oz.

# 16 makes a big mess and is not very strong. Your joints even if badly done will look a lot better with #4. Get some scrap from a place and practice a few joints. You will be much happier.

I agree that 3 or 4 is a much better choice than building a whole project with 16..

and estreetplastics has what you need there too.. weldon 3 and a 25 ga needle bottle..
