Green toadstool losing tissue?

I have had this toadstool for about a year and in the last few weeks it has been losing tissue in its "folds". I did have a nitrate spike while out of town complimented by my heater nearly baking the system last month. I assume its from that chaos but want to here what the more experienced folks think. All my other corals and fish are doing just fine.
