Converted Herbie Corner Overflow need advice
I set up my Herbie on my 72g bow front. Let me just say this thing is awesome! Dead silent. One question though. I have two large holes drilled into the teeth on my overflow weir. This is where the 3/4" return LocLine used to reside. Since my Herbie conversion, I have blocked it with filter sponge wedges. Although, this is working it does cause the water lever to be slightly higher than it probably should be. This is due to the decreased flow through the sponges. Any thoughts on how I can alter and fix this?

Install bulkheads and cap them for a water tight seal

galoot. Not a bad idea, but I am looking to improve the flow. The foam is keeping the tank mates in DT. Maybe I could rig a flat strainer to the bulk head with a small piece of pvc? That should work.
